Freedom And Victory In Jesus
January 28, 2013Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. 2 Corinthians 5:17
When Jesus enters your life, He changes you. The people who encountered Jesus in the Bible came in broken and sick and left restored and healed. Whatever you’re facing, God’s promises and miraculous work are just as alive today as they were in the Bible (Micah 7:20, Psalm 105:8, Hebrews 13:8).
Satan has tried to diminish the vibrancy of what Jesus paid such a high price to give. But we are called to fight the good fight of faith knowing we have the victory (1 Timothy 6:12). So refuse to live below your potential, and put your faith in God and in His promises.
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. 1 John 5:4-5
Carry this victorious attitude into your prayer closet, into your bad diagnosis. Carry it when your kids talk back to you, If your finances are tanked. Carry it when the world seems weird and scary. We have been invited into this miraculous life of freedom and victory. Instead of retreating, let’s fall into the arms of God and trust that we will see the salvation of the Lord.
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:57
