CHRISTMAS LUNCH FOR AGES 55+

  • Saturday, December 20 • 11:30 AM
  • Join us for a beautiful Christmas luncheon – a special time to gather with friends, enjoy a delicious meal, and celebrate the joy of the season together! This is a free event for ages 55+, but you must have a ticket to attend so we can plan well for our meal (and to register you for the prize drawings 😁). To register click here! Or you can get your tickets starting Friday, November 28, before or after church.
  • Registration closes Monday, December 15, so be sure to reserve your spot!
  • Invite a friend – we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES

  • Wednesday, December 24 • 5:00 PM & 6:30 PM
  • Bring the whole family to these special candlelight services as we celebrate the reason for the season – Jesus! We have two times for you to choose from that best fits your family flow or stay for both! (Kids will sit in service with their families.)

BUILD A BAG

  • It’s time for our annual outreach, when we give groceries for a Christmas meal to families in need!

 

Ways to Help:

Give: If you want to give toward this, $40 will cover one holiday meal of

groceries for a family. To give online, click here and select BUILDABAG from the dropdown menu. For Text-to-Give, send a text to 636.206.3255 for any amount followed by BAB. For example: 40 BAB.

 

Volunteers needed: We will need volunteers on Saturday morning, December 13 to help assemble 500 bags of groceries. For more information or to sign up, call call the Volunteer Office at 636.733.8367.

NEW YEAR’S EVE

What are you doing New Year’s Eve? We have your plans covered! Join us for a special night of worship and prayer as we pray in the New Year! Kids will sit in the service with their families.

Mom’s Day Out

Tuesdays • 9 AM – 1 PM • Ages 2-5

Mom’s Day Out takes place on Tuesdays for our church family! This is for children ages 2 through 5 (not yet in kindergarten). Please bring a sack lunch and diapers, and we’ll provide the snacks and a fun and safe environment for your kids while you get a break! Minimal fee required. Call the church office at 636-532-3446 for more info and sign up here!

Mom’s Day out will take a break for the holidays: The last day will be December 16. There will be no get-together on December 23 or 30. We will resume on Tuesday, January 6! 

Youth

Wednesdays • 7-9 PM • Youth Auditorium
Middle school and high school youth are invited to join in on Wednesday night youth group! This is a great way to make friends at church! Every week enjoy awesome praise and worship followed by an encouraging message. After the service, everyone hangs out, eats snacks, and plays games!

 

 

Baby Dedications

During our baby dedications we pray for your children and their futures. Dedications take place at select services monthly. To sign up or for more information, call 636.532.3446 or email us at info@slfc.org.

We are looking for more volunteers to help in our Children‘s Church! We need extra help on Friday nights and during all three services on Sundays. Call the church office or visit the Lobby for more information.

Water Baptism

On select Fridays through the year! 

Baptism class at 6:00 PM

  • Friday Church starts at 7 PM

For more information or to sign up, call the church office at 636-532-3446. We will begin with an awesome class at 6:00 PM on a Friday night, that will fill you in on the importance of Water Baptism and what the Bible says about it! The class will be held in the Youth Auditorium and will finish in time for you to join the service until it’s time to get baptized.
