Break Through Your Obstacles

September 13, 2019

And Jesus answered saying to them, “Have faith in God. Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him. Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.” Mark 11:22-24

1. HAVE FAITH IN GOD. This is a year of breakthrough and we are called to actually move mountains. A mountain is the biggest barrier in the natural world. It represents anything in your life that is standing in the way of God’s will being done. Mountains can be fears, natural circumstances, lack, or sickness. Whatever is blocking God’s will in your life, remember that God is faithful, His Word is true, and His promises are unfailing. You can trust and rely on Him.

So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. Romans 10:17

2. SPEND FACE TIME WITH GOD. Intimate fellowship with God brings truth and understanding into your specific situations. Time in God’s presence and in His Word will help you out of depression, help you out of worry, help you to get unstuck. Take some time to fellowship with God. Write down things you are believing Him for. Forgive if you have anything against anyone.

3. CONFESS WITH YOUR MOUTH. The devil works overtime to fill us with worry and get us to make molehills into mountains. But God wants to turn your mountains into nothing. God has given us the ability to express ourselves with words, and with our words we are called to command those mountains to be removed. Life and death are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). Find scriptures that correspond to whatever you are dealing with and then say them out loud.

Daily Confession: I have faith in God. For with the heart I believe, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth I confess, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed.” I believe what I say is going to happen – all things for which I pray and ask I believe that I have received them. I forgive everyone, including those who have wronged me. I command the things that are blocking God’s will in my life to move in Jesus’ Name. I thank God that only His plans and His will are happening in my life (Romans 10:10-11; Mark 11:22-26).

Faith, noun
To trust in, have faith in, be fully convinced of, acknowledge, rely on… [It] is more than credence in church doctrines or articles of faith. It expresses reliance upon and a personal trust that produces obedience. It includes submission and a positive confession of the lordship of Jesus.
