YOU HAVE THE VICTORY BECAUSE GOD IS ABLE

May 26, 2023

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us.
Ephesians 3:20

1. GOD IS POWERFUL. When God says, “Fight the good fight of faith,” it implies that we have a fight on our hands (1 Timothy 6:12). I love when God says, “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit” (Zechariah 4:6). It’s not by your power, but it’s by that same Spirit who raised Christ from the dead that gets in your prayer life and makes it matter; who gets in your encouragement and makes it rich and powerful; who gets on your faith and causes mountains of obstruction to move, depression to lift, anxiety to dissipate, and answers to come (Romans 8:11).

2. GOD IS ABUNDANT. “And let them say continually, ‘The Lord be magnified, Who delights in the prosperity of His servant’” (Psalm 35:27). What is prosperity to us? It’s not some superficial thing where we get all our little comforts met. It includes that, but that’s a minor fraction of it. Prosperity includes Jesus redeeming us from hell, forgiving us of sin, empowering the weak, giving strength to the weary, and providing guidance to those who ask for wisdom. God will supply all of your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

3. GOD IS WITH YOU.
God spoke these profound words to ancient Israel through the prophet Isaiah, and He’s speaking them to us today. Everywhere you show up, Jesus shows up with you. He says, “I am with you always, even to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:20). “I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). The devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But God has given us the shield of faith by which we can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one – over our marriages, over our finances, over our work, over our city, over our church, and over the nations (Ephesians 6:16).

4. GOD IS WORKING. In the Bible, Sarah received the ability to conceive past the proper time. If you’ve had ambitions and dreams and feel like they haven’t been fully met, take your stand, fight in faith, and trust that God will supply. Believe that you will see the birthing of the miraculous things God has for you.
