Wisdom & Direction
March 25, 2013But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5
You can know God’s will. If you have felt indecisive about what to do in your next steps, the good news is this: those who lack wisdom can seek God and find it.
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way. Psalm 37:23 NKJV
The Apostle Paul instructed us to fix our eyes on Jesus, the perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Meditate on Him, fellowship with Him. Make God’s Word what you study. When you are looking for direction and wisdom, find the corresponding contextual promise in the Bible and take hold of it and say, “God, this is what I stand on.”
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2
God is the God of peace and not confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33). Use God’s Word as a sword to cut through the hindrances and uncertainty in your life. When you spend time in the Word, your mind will get renewed and clarity will come. Seek God—He will guide you!
So will My Word be which goes forth from My mouth; it will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11
God bless you,
Pastor Jeff
