Ways to Get Strengthened!

March 17, 2017

But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you. Matthew 6:6

FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD. God is all powerful and when we draw near to Him, strength will come. His presence shifts us from surviving to thriving. Delving into the Word of God and spending time in God’s presence will strengthen your heart. If you feel worn down by life, take time like Jesus often did to “slip away to the wilderness and pray” (Luke 5:16). The Creator of the Universe has everything you need—all the strength, all the power, all the insight, all the guidance. And always try to remember what Daniel 11:32b proclaims: The people who know their God shall be strong and do exploits!

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth. Acts 1:8

KNOW WHO YOU ARE IN GOD. God is urging us toward a greater level of breakthrough than we’ve ever experienced. Like a soldier in basic training or like a surgeon who scrubs and prepares before the operation, there is something we are preparing for as a church. We get strengthened not only so that we can cope, fight, and win in our personal lives, but also for all the people attached to our obedience and for all the repercussive effects our lives are called to have.

Press on!

PRAY THIS PRAYER:
I pray that I would be strengthened with power through God’s Spirit in the inner man, that Christ would dwell in my heart through faith and that I being rooted and grounded in love may be able to comprehend what is the breadth, and length, and height, and depth, and that I may know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge and that I would be filled up to all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:14-19
