Reset Your Life with God’s Word

November 17, 2014

The revelation of God is whole and pulls our lives together. The signposts of God are clear and point out the right road. The life-maps of God are right, showing the way to joy. Psalm 19:7-8a MSG

The Map of God’s Word. Many people are wondering what to do with their lives. No one cares more about your life than God. He cares about your days and the hours and the minutes you spend. He knows what to do when nobody else does. He will lead and guide you by His Holy Spirit and His written Word.

The Joy of God’s Word. God wants to restore joy to you (Psalm 51:12). The devil wants you to ignore your Bible and be overwhelmed with 50,000 other things because when God’s Word is in your heart, you become a formidable entity on the earth. The Bible has answers for your questions and gives you direction in the face of uncertainty. It will get you out of breakdown and into breakthrough.

The unfolding of Your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple. Psalm 119:130

The Light of God’s Word. Whatever you are going through, God has a plan. The Scriptures cut through all darkness and confusion like a light beam from heaven. Turn to the Word and let it be a light to your path. Spend time reading Psalm 19 and Psalm 119 this month and let God’s Word restore your soul.

Pray this Prayer:
God, give me a desire for the Bible. I know Your Word is perfect and restores my soul; it makes me wise; it rejoices my heart and enlightens my eyes (Psalm 19:7-8). Revive me according to Your Word (Psalm 119:25). Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, oh Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer (Psalm 19:14).

res•tore, verb
