REMEMBER THIS
August 21, 2026I remember the days of old; I meditate on all Your doings; I muse on the work of Your hands. Psalm 143:5
1. REMEMBER PAST BREAKTHROUGHS. When King David wrote this psalm, he was viewing his life in light of all the breakthroughs God had provided. When you deal with the disruption of unexpected events or personal disappointments, build your faith with examples of God’s faithfulness from the Word and from your own life.
Your breakthrough is either fueled or undermined by the things you choose to meditate on.
2. REMEMBER WHAT JESUS DID. Jesus said to take Communion “in remembrance of Me” (Luke 22:19b). Whenever you receive Communion, you are reminding yourself that you are attached to the one Person who is uniquely qualified to seek and save the lost. Through Jesus you have provision, healing for your body, your mind, your emotions, and your will.
3. REMEMBER HOW MIGHTY GOD IS IN YOU! The world is filled with weapons of mass distraction that try to pull our minds away from God’s faithfulness, power, and willingness to help. Get up every morning and boldly declare the good report over your day – that you are more than a conqueror through Him who loves you (Romans 8:37).

To keep (someone) in mind as worthy of consideration or recognition.
SAY THIS OUT LOUD:
Today is a good day! I choose to occupy myself with what God says. I focus on Him and all His doings (Psalm 77:12). I am more than a conqueror through Him who loves me (Romans 8:37). I take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).
