Put God First

The best thing we can offer God is an undivided heart. God is looking for people who are willing to put Him first, to push away distractions and make Jesus central.
Now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require from you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and love Him, and to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. Deuteronomy 10:12
He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? Micah 6:8
My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples. John 15:8
God can turn around an apathetic heart and make it optimistic and faith-filled. If you haven’t been reading your Bible lately, just start! If you are short on time, read one chapter. Some of the chapters I love to meditate on are Psalms 1, 23, 91, and 128; Romans 8; and Colossians 3.
Doing things God’s way is how you find joy and fulfillment. God has sustaining grace for whatever you are dealing with. His timing is impeccable. His purposes are powerful. His Word shall surely come to pass.
It’s worth it to serve God!
