God’s Eternal Faithfulness

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8

The world is filled with fast-paced change, but the reality of God’s reliability, His faithfulness, and His constancy is so reassuring. Everything else changes, but Jesus stays the same.

For I, the Lord, do not change; therefore you, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed. Malachi 3:6

When circumstances are rapidly changing or your emotions are shifting from one moment to the next, find your identity in the changelessness of Jesus Christ. Anxiety leaves and peace takes its place when you understand and focus on God’s reliability. You are made in God’s image. You are loved, not based on performance or good deeds, but because of God’s great mercy (Titus 3:5). His promises are true. He can be counted on.

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18

As time marches on and borders shift and kings and kingdoms change, you can rely on Jesus and the authenticity and the power of His Word. Let the permanence, the solidity, the lasting power of God get into your home, your thought life, and your soul. Every day His power and grace are available to help you, and that never changes. God is faithful to your last breath and beyond.

The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever. Isaiah 40:8

God is faithful!
