Called for Such a Time as This
June 8, 2018For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this? Esther 4:14
1. YOUR STEPS ARE ORDERED. Your times are in God’s hands, and just as He did for Esther when it was her time to step up, He will establish your steps too (Psalm 31:15; Psalm 37:23). As you seek and pursue Him, you can trust that He will bring order to seemingly random events in your life.
2. EQUIPPED TO MAKE AN IMPACT. God wants to equip you for every good work to do His will (2 Timothy 3:17; Hebrews 13:20-21). Jesus said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father” (John 14:12). As you seek God and make yourself available to Him, He will strongly support you (2 Chronicles 16:9a). Signs and wonders follow an obedient life.
For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6
3. HAVE THE END IN MIND. It’s critical to get rooted and tethered in the Word of God. If life gets dark, step out into the light of God’s Word, which is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). If you get weak, the spiritual nutrition of the Word will fortify and stabilize you, and you can face each day knowing you’ve been called for such a time as this.
God bless you!

DAILY CONFESSION:
God is at work in me both to will and to do of His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13). I fix my eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of my faith (Hebrews 12:2a). I know the plans God has for me, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give me a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
or·der, noun
