Run With the Vision

August 14, 2014

I will stand on my guard post and station myself on the rampart; and I will keep watch to see what He will speak to me, and how I may reply when I am reproved. Habakkuk 2:1

Stand & Watch. The prophet Habakkuk is standing and watching, ready to hear from God—not wondering if God will speak to him but listening for what God will speak to him. Let’s be ready for what God wants to tell us and for what He is going to do at the appointed time.

Then the Lord answered me and said, “Record the vision and inscribe it on tablets, that the one who reads it may run. For the vision is yet for the appointed time; it hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; for it will certainly come, it will not delay.” Habakkuk 2:2-3

Record & Run. With a vision, we can run toward the goal. God wants to do great miracles through each one of us. Write down your prayers, what God reveals to you in the Scriptures, and what the voice of the Holy Spirit is speaking to you.

Pray This Prayer
God, You have given me everything I need pertaining to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). I thank You I am equipped to do Your will (Hebrews 13:21). You came that I might have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10). You have called me to lift up Jesus, to pray huge prayers of faith, and to shine the light of the Word of God into the dark parts of this world. I thank You that I am filled with Your thoughts and plans, God. I follow only Your voice and not the voice of a stranger (John 10:4-5). In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

vi•sion, noun
