The Certainty of God’s Word
August 11, 2014God’s Word never changes. He has sustained you this far and He will bring to completion everything He has called you to do. Let these scriptures get rooted in your spirit and produce firm conviction in your heart concerning God’s eternal faithfulness. Satan antagonizes in the area of uncertainty. As you gain clarity and specifics with God’s Word, you will begin to dispel all doubt.
I have been young and now I am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his descendants begging bread. Psalm 37:25
You know the word which the Lord spoke to Moses the man of God concerning you [Joshua] and me [Caleb] in Kadesh-barnea. Joshua 14:6b
Behold, I [Caleb] am eighty-five years old today. I am still as strong today as I was in the day Moses sent me; as my strength was then, so my strength is now, for war and for going out and coming in. Joshua 14:10b-11
He has remembered His covenant forever, the word which He commanded to a thousand generations. Psalm 105:8
For He Himself has said, “I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you,” so that we confidently say, “The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?” Hebrews 13:5b-6
Daily Confession
I place my hope and trust in God’s Word. He is watching over His Word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12). God’s plans and purposes will come to pass in my life and I will surely overcome! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
