God’s Plans. God’s Timing.

December 9, 2016

The people who know their God will display strength and take action. Daniel 11:32b

1. RESPOND TO GOD. The champions of the Bible are not unattainable superheroes. They are men and women who simply responded to God, believed the word that He had given them, and acted on the mission. That’s where they found the strength and that’s where we too will find the strength to complete our course.

2. BELIEVE GOD’S WORD. Instead of asking God to bless your plans, ask God to bless you with His plans. If we’ll lay aside our agendas in favor of God’s agenda, with Jesus’ adamant attitude toward the Father: “Not My will, but Yours be done” (Luke 22:42)—over the course of time we’ll thrive and our culture will be impacted powerfully by the salt and light in our lives.

But My servant Caleb, because he has had a different spirit and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land which he entered, and his descendants shall take possession of it. Numbers 14:24

3. ACT ON THE MISSION. There has never been a better time to invest all your heart into the things of God. You are called to be a world changer, to push back darkness, to bring hope—to be an Esther who was unassuming but stepped up and walked through the door God opened for her; to be like Caleb who had a different spirit; or to be like the apostle Paul who overcame detours and obstacles to fulfill God’s plan and finally preach the Word unhindered. God has His hand on your life. Hold to his plan. Believe for it, stand for it. His timing is always perfect.

God bless you!

PRAY THIS PRAYER:
Lord, my heart is inclined to You and I know Your voice. Use me to make a difference and to have impact, for healing to flow, lives to change, and courage to come. Fill me now with the power of Your Holy Spirit. Order my steps. Thank You, Jesus, that signs and wonders will follow my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
