God Will Take Care of You

February 18, 2013

Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? Matthew 6:26

God is not an idle deity at the corner of the universe who is no longer interested in humanity. He has the amazing capacity to care about each one of us (seven billion!) all at the same time. Let the following verses remind you of how much your Heavenly Father cares about every detail of your life.

He calls you by name.
To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. John 10:3

He numbers your hairs.
But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Matthew 10:30

He counts and orders your steps.
Does He not see my ways and number all my steps? Job 31:4

He bottles your tears.
You have taken account of my wanderings; put my tears in Your bottle. Are they not in Your book? Psalm 56:8

He takes your hand.
“For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’” Isaiah 41:13 AMP

When you realize how faithful God is and how much He cares about every detail of your life, fear and worry can no longer dominate you. You can be free to believe God for bigger things, knowing that He is an ever present help in time of need (Psalm 46:1); He will work all things together for good (Romans 8:28); and He will perfect that which concerns you (Psalm 138:8). Trust Him for the miraculous. He will always see you through.

God loves you,
Pastor Jeff
