Fountain of Life

February 10, 2017

The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life. Proverbs 10:11a

WHAT’S FILLING YOUR RESERVES? When we get our hearts filled with the truth of God, it will not only benefit us personally, but abundant life will flow out of us for others. Value the Scriptures. What you value, you focus on, and what you focus on, you’ll speak out.

The lips of the righteous feed many. Proverbs 10:21a

The mouth of the upright will deliver them. Proverbs 12:6b

PEOPLE NEED WHAT YOU HAVE. God wants us to be feeders, healers, and deliverers. Ask yourself: Does your mouth usually feed people with truth and substance, or starve them through silence and empty speech? Does your mouth heal people with words of grace, love, and kindness, or wound people with insensitive, harsh, critical words? Does your mouth deliver people with advocacy and partnership, or join in on the attack?

There is one who speaks rashly like the thrusts of a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. Proverbs 12:18

God bless you,

DAILY CONFESSION
My heart instructs my mouth (Proverbs 16:23). I fill my heart with good treasure and I bring forth good. Out of the abundance of my heart my mouth speaks life, healing, and deliverance (Luke 6:45). My tongue brings healing (Proverbs 12:18b).

THINK before you speak:
Is it
True
Will it
Help
Does it
Inspire
Is it
Necessary
Is it
Kind
