Created For Impact

June 9, 2017

Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to accomplish His work. Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields, that they are white for harvest.” John 4:34-35

GOD’S AMAZING PLAN. Jesus lived to do God’s will. There is nothing more fulfilling than to follow God’s plan for our lives. God has called us to be a culture of effective workers who do our work heartily to Him and have genuine impact in the lives of others around us.

Seeing the people, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.” Matthew 9:36-38

ENDURANCE BRINGS EFFECTIVENESS. We’ve all been through rough stuff. But don’t get stuck in your devastation. God can use what you’ve been through to bring credibility as you reach out to others going through difficulty. Lift up your eyes and see the amazing opportunities all around you. Every day there are people you come into contact with who need some encouragement, who need prayer, who need kindness—be available to God and the amazing assignments He has for you as you go on your way!

PRAY THIS PRAYER
Thank You, Jesus, for the hope I have in You. Whoever calls on Your Name will be saved (Romans 10:13). I pray that You send people to cross the paths of my family and my friends who need You. And use me this week to be the answer to someone else’s prayer for a loved one. I pray that You will use me this year in my daily life to have a greater impact than ever. When You tell me to talk to someone, to encourage someone, to call someone—I will! I love You, Jesus!
