There is always a lot to do at SLFC, and we want YOU to be a part of it. Whether you attend an event or volunteer, we hope you jump in with both feet and get plugged in.

The Event

October 9 – 11

Everyone is invited to our 13th annual EVENT, Friday through Sunday, October 9, 10, and 11. THE EVENT is a unique weekend filled with inspiring teaching with Pastor Jeff and guest Reinhard Bonnke and a Night of Worship with Mynista and the SLFC Band.

Join us outside on Friday and Saturday nights after THE EVENT for food, family fun, great music, and activities for the kids! The worship concert and activities are free. Food is available for a nominal price. Childcare for birth – 4 is available Saturday night during the service and the worship concert. Read more for THE EVENT weekend schedule.

Fall Festival

St. Louis Family Church Campus

Invite your family, friends and neighbors to this fun, safe, family event! Delicious food, costume contests, pumpkin painting, and carnival games and rides are sure to build an evening filled with great memories. All ages are invited!

The costume contest, all games, and certain activities are also free! Tickets are required to purchase food, rides, and some activities.

Pre-event special available at the Info Center:
• Purchase an unlimited carnival rides voucher for $15!
• Buy 20 tickets and get 5 free!

Fall Book Study

Wednesdays Through October 28

7:00 PM • Worship Center

We are studying the book Bible Doctrines by P.C. Nelson. This study is for the whole church. The evening includes teaching by Pastor Jeff, group discussion time, refreshments, and fellowship. The cost is $10
for the book and study guide—sign up at the study.

Women's Meeting & Book Study

Wednesdays Through November 18

8:45 AM • Worship Center

Join us for a light breakfast, worship, and special teaching by Pastor Patsy. After the teaching, you are invited to join our book study. You will be encouraged from God’s Word and make new friends! Register at the study.

The cost is $25 for the study if you do not own the book and $10 if you already own the book. Childcare is available and costs $10 per family. Read More to view titles of the books included in the study.

Join us for this great opportunity to meet new people and hang out with friends! Pick up your kids from Children’s Ministry and come outside to enjoy a family-friendly event. Food will be available for a nominal cost.

Organizing Shoes and Backpacks

Saturday, October 24

We have a great opportunity to once again reach out to families in the 2nd and 27th wards in our city! Teams will go to four different schools to record the shoe sizes of the kids. Then, on Saturday, October 24, we will get together at church to organize more than 2,000 pairs of shoes into backpacks. In the following weeks, teams will help host assemblies at the schools and complete the big shoe giveaway!

Start planning your costume now for the annual Anchors Costume Contest!

If you are in your 20s or 30s, married, single, have kids, don’t have kids—you are invited! Get together with people your age to hear a great message from Pastor Jeff and hang out with friends over dinner and dessert. If you have kids, bring them along for a fun night at Anchors Kids. The Anchors meeting takes place the fourth Saturday of each month. To reserve childcare for ages birth – 12, please call 636.733.8334.

Water Baptism

During the service on Friday, November 13

A pre-baptism class is available on November 13 from 6:30 to 7:30 PM in the Above Arts Academy. To register, call the office at 636.532.3446. Please Note: Ages 17 and under must have a parent-signed form to participate.

Volunteering is a great way to meet new people and be an active part of serving at your home church. If you haven’t yet signed up to become a volunteer, stop by the Information Center on Friday night or Sunday morning to pick up a Volunteer Information Packet, or call the Volunteer Office at 636.733.8367 to find out how you can be part of the St. Louis Family Church Volunteer Team.
