How to Win

September 25, 2015

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5

GET IN THE WORD. Let God’s Word transform your thinking. We have divinely powerful weapons to destroy everything raised up against the knowledge of God. When you get attacked in your thought life by distraction, worry, or fear, run back to the pages of the Word to get strength and clarity. With it you can cast down imaginations, quit worrying about lesser things, and instead lift your eyes to the big picture of God’s amazing plan for your life.

For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror; for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he has immediately forgotten what kind of person he was. But one who looks intently at the perfect law, the law of liberty, and abides by it, not having become a forgetful hearer but an effectual doer, this man will be blessed in what he does. James 1:23-25

HAVE FAITH IN GOD. When you look into the mirror of the Scriptures you become transformed into that image (Romans 12:2). Trust God for breakthrough in circumstances that look impossible. You are designed to pray huge prayers, to stand on the promises of God, and to think strategically. Take every thought captive and speak life to those visions, dreams, and desires.

DAILY CONFESSION based on Ephesians 6:10-13
I am strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. I put on the full armor of God so that I am able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Having done everything thing to stand, I stand firm.
