How to Be Ready in Every Season

March 26, 2021

Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season. 2 Timothy 4:2a

1. PREPARE. God uses people who get ready. Preparation is a statement to your future that you are available. It’s
a statement that you trust God with your future. We are called to be poised – not wound up or nervous, but ready. And preparation will set you up to be at peace and available for opportunity.

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

2. GET FUELED IN THE WORD AND PRAYER. Let your sufficiency come from the Word of God which equips you for every good work. When we pray, it changes things. As we consistently repent and keep our hearts clean, we can be ready to be used by God for every good work.

3. STAY AVAILABLE TO THE HOLY SPIRIT. Realize you matter to God and take your life seriously. Develop the gifts God gave you. You are on assignment. As you keep yourself available to the Holy Spirit, signs and wonders will follow you.

GET READY!
