There was a time in my life when I spent two years wishing I could go into business. I almost quit the ministry before I even got started. For two years I fantasized about what I could do. I'd still preach the Gospel, but I'd just do it in a different way. I wanted to get out from under the pressure, and I thought if I left what I was doing and got into something else, I'd be less stressed.

You know, that's a lie. Escapism never works. God has mandated that we stay locked in to the call on our lives. Anybody can quit. Anybody can leave a marriage. Anybody can leave a job. But we're not sissies and we're not quitters.

So—whatever's trying to take you out—get back in there and deal with the thing, because God's turnaround might be just six inches under the dirt that you're digging. Invite God into the situation. Believe He will do something great in it.
So, you see, it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that there is a God and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. Hebrews 11:6 NLT Beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, a roadway in the wilderness, a river in the desert—what the enemy meant for harm God is turning around for good.

God will never let you down.
