Now, Where's That Vision . . .
But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul. Deuteronomy 4:29 We, as the Church, need to do everything we can to accommodate God's big, broad, beautiful plans! He said He'd build His Church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it (Matthew 16:18). He also said that it's the proper working of each individual part that causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love (Ephesians 4:16).

In the Body of Christ, there are not just a select few who participate while everybody else observes. You are significant. Every one of us is called to become aware of our place and step in with passion. If we don't have vision we perish, we run unrestrained (Proverbs 29:18). But, with a vision of what God has, we're going to do pretty well!

Alright, so we need vision or we perish. I'm not up for perishing. I want to live this thing out and fulfill all that God has planned for me. It's up to you and me to seek the Lord for His vision for our lives. Consider these promises from the Father as you seek the Lord for His vision for your unique place in the Church:

I love those who love Me; and those who diligently seek Me will find Me. Proverbs 8:17 You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Matthew 7:8 As we draw near to the Lord, glimpse His vision, and obey Him, we'll not only see, but we'll be an active part of some amazing things coming to pass in our generation. God allows us to participate in what He is doing on the earth. Hallelujah!

Press on for the vision,
Pastor Jeff
