Mountain Mover.
"For I am the Lord your God, who upholds your right hand, who says to you, 'Do not fear, I will help you.' Do not fear, you worm Jacob, you men of Israel; I will help you," declares the Lord, "and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel. Behold, I have made you a new, sharp threshing sledge with double edges; you will thresh the mountains and pulverize them, and will make the hills like chaff." Isaiah 41:13-15
When Israel was in captivity, the Holy Spirit had Isaiah prophesy to a discouraged group of people who were in a captivity situation and whose circumstances did not have the marks of blessing.
Through Isaiah, God told them, "I have chosen you and not rejected you" (Isaiah 41:9b)do not fear for I am with you." He went on to say that He was going to enable them to pulverize the mountains that stood in their way.
Despite their discouraging situation, God was going to use them. Out of their weakness He was going to make them strong so they could break through the blockages.
Throughout the Scriptures, mountains represent the current struggles and hindrances that loom around us. Jesus reiterates this theme in the New Testament: "And Jesus answered saying to them, 'Have faith in God. Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, "Be taken up and cast into the sea," and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him'" (Matthew 11:22-23).
God is strengthening you to press through. Even though your circumstances may not look good, God is going to make you a mountainpulverizer so that you can smash through the things that are holding you back. Even if you don't feel or see a lot of breakthrough, God hasn't forgotten you. Have faith in Him.
How do you have faith? By hearing the Word. As you seek God and act on His Word, the things that loom before you will part like the Red Sea and you will be able to move on in the purpose God has for you. Remember the words of Isaiah: God has chosen you and He is making you into a new, sharp threshing sledge with double edges to pulverize mountains and open doors for new ministry opportunities, new business ideas, and restored relationships.
Trust Him!
