Joy to the World!
Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth; Break forth and sing for joy and sing praises. Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre, with the lyre and the sound of melody. With trumpets and the sound of the horn shout joyfully before the King, the Lord. Let the sea roar and all it contains,
the world and those who dwell in it. Let the rivers clap their hands, let the mountains sing together for joy before the Lord, for He is coming to judge the earth; He will judge the world with righteousness and the peoples with equity. Psalm 98:4-9

Joy is the happy state that results from knowing and serving God. Joy is found over 150 times in the Bible! Rejoice appears over 200 times.
Joy to the world!
The Lord is come
Let earth receive her King
Let every heart
Prepare Him room
And heaven and nature sing
Joy to the world!
The Savior reigns
Let men their songs employ
While fields and flood
Rocks, hills, and plains
Repeat the sounding joy
No more let sins
And sorrows grow
Nor thorns infest the ground
He comes to make
His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found
He rules the world
With truth and grace
And makes the nations prove
The glories of
His righteousness
And wonders of His love
