Hunger & Thirst.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. Matthew 5:6 This fractured world is thirsting for something that can fill the emptiness. And Jesus is the ultimate answer.

Before I was saved I remember feeling empty and dry; I was dehydrated, dying from thirst, but I didn't know how to find water. When someone told me that Jesus is the source of living water, my life forever changed.

We are called to be conduits of living water, flowing to others (John 7:38). In order to overflow to others, we need to constantly be seeking God and getting filled with His Word.

Ho! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and you who have no money come, buy and eat. Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and delight yourself in abundance. Isaiah 55:1, 2 I don't want to be satisfied by anything other than Jesus. It's easy to get distracted and fill up on junk before getting to the meal. We've got to turn away from synthetic things that suppress our hunger for the real deal. Jesus is the only thing that will truly satisfy your hunger and thirst. Don't allow yourself to be distracted away from Him and His Word.

It's all about knowing Jesus,

Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water." John 4:10
