There was a time when many of Jesus' disciples were abandoning Him. They were peeling out left and right. From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more. Then Jesus said to the twelve, "Do you also want to go away?" But Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God" (John 6:66-69).

Where else could we go? What else could we do? I don't know how people make it without Jesus. I really don't. It's good to know that the Lord is near us when we call (Psalm 145:18; Psalm 84:10).

So whatever your situation, whatever your circumstance, whatever you're going through, I know for sure that God knows all about it. It didn't take Him by surprise. He's already working out the end of it. He has something ready on the other side of your situation, and you are going to get on the other side with a testimony of how God delivered you.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord shall deliver him out of them all. Psalm 34:19 That scripture became our anthem in 1993 during the flood, when the Main Worship Center was filled with eleven feet of filthy water. Ten years later, we have a nice building and we're on dry ground! Best of all, we have a great testimony of how God brought us through that situation. And He will do the same for you.
