Healing.
You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Acts 10:38 Sickness is not a gift from God to teach us something, but it is oppression from the devil (Acts 10:38). Healing is the will of God, and this is reflected in one of God's names, "Jehovah-Rapha," meaning "I am the Lord your healer." It is important to study the Word because it shows the will of God to heal, and faith rises on the inside as this truth becomes evident. Faith activates the power of God. Time and again, Jesus healed people, saying their faith had made them whole (Matthew 8:10-13, 9:29; Mark 5:34; Mark 2:5).

Your job is to stay in an atmosphere of faith, and you do that by feeding your faith with the Word of God. Let the IV of God's Word constantly drip into your spirit. Even when you don't feel like it, thank and praise God for your healing—keep the confession of God's Word constantly on your lips: "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful" (Hebrews 10:23).

God wants Family Church to be a power zone to bring healing to hurting people—this honors God. When Jesus commissioned the disciples, "He called the twelve together, and gave them power and authority over all the demons and to heal diseases. And He sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to perform healing" (Luke 9:1-2). Study and grab hold of God's promises for healing, because we are all called to minister healing to others. What a wonderful calling!

Thank God for His Healing,
Pastor Jeff

These signs will accompany those who have believed: In My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.
Mark 16:17-18
