Gone Fishin'.
And Jesus said to them, "Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men." Mark 1:17
It is our desire to reach the nations, to impact the culture, to push back the darkness, and to impact every area of influenceto generally step up with the life-changing message of Jesus.
It is my prayer that we see the pure Gospel of Jesus going forth with power out of this church so that we may see many disciples being drawn into the Kingdom and growing in the Lord.
May we be an environment conducive for souls coming to the Lord, for life change and for world impact, where we see people's hearts totally transformed, forever turned around. We want this to be a place where people come in one way and leave changed -- changed by the power of
the Holy Spirit, by a supernatural touch from God, and by God's Word. We are ambassadors (2 Corinthians 5:20), we are the salt (Matthew 5:13), we are the light (Matthew 5:14)we are co-laborers with Christ. We each have a significant part (Ephesians 4:16) in working together to draw folks
into the Kingdom, into a life and eternity with God, spared from the reality of hell. We've got to have God's ideas for communicating His powerful Word to the world. Hearts will not be moved, and they cannot be sustained, by the methods of the flesh (even those with the best intentions). We want
not just the good or the acceptable, but the perfect will of God. And we are seeking Him for it!
We are setting our sights on what He wants to see come to pass. Jesus said, "I only do what I see My Father doing" (John 5:19). Paul obeyed the heavenly vision (Acts 26:19). May it be so with us in our generation. By God's grace we will fulfill the details of the call He has on each of our
livesindividually and collectively.
