A Guide For Your Life.
All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
When the Word of God comes on the scene, it produces change. Author Philip Keller wrote that, in following Jesus, "a person exchanges the fickle fortunes of living life
by sheer whimsy for the more productive and satisfying adventure of being guided by God."* God guides us through the Scriptures. He inspired people to write the Bible
and then He has preserved it all these years to serve as our guide through life.
"The unfolding of Your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple" (Psalm 119:130). We can go to God and He will show us what to do. I don't know about you,
but I need some help navigating through life. As we pore through the Bible, its inspired pages shed light on our path and guide us in our mission (Psalm 119:105).
Meditating on the Word will get you out of depression and hopelessness. When you feel agitated or lonely or if you are craving something but can't figure out what it is,
your spirit probably needs to be fed. If you are tired of reading your Bible, then force-feed yourself on Psalm 119. It takes about 15 minutes to read and is all about
the importance of the Word. Whether you feel bored or excited about it, get your eyes on what God has to say. As we delve into the Scriptures, they will guide us surely
through every area of our lives!
Looking to Jesus,
Pastor Jeff
The law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. The precepts of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; the judgments of the Lord are true; they
are righteous altogether. Psalm 19:7-9
